Orientation

A comprehensive orientation program for all new students has been designed in order to get students on track for success. Students have the opportunity to participate in New Student Registration Days during the summer and prior to the beginning of fall and spring term classes. They have the opportunity to take part in planned orientation functions including campus familiarization, academic advising and registration, placement testing, housing assignments, and a variety of social activities. A new Comet student orientation is also available within the Blackboard Learning Management System for all new students. Additionally a Blackboard student orientation gives students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the online class environment and learn key information about MSU.
