Academic Advising Center

Mayville State University provides high quality, intentional academic advising to students such that they feel supported along their educational path.  All degree-seeking students are assigned to an academic advisor who assist with registration and developing a plan of study. The office collaborates with academic divisions and administrative units to support students, faculty, and staff in meeting student advising needs.

Although academic advisors are here to help, it is important for students to realize that they are responsible for their academic decisions and meeting all graduation requirements. Students are required to meet with their advisor each term prior to completing registration.
