Non-Degree Requirements

A non-degree student does not intend to earn a degree but would like to enroll in course(s). A non-degree applicant requires the following:

  1. Application for Admission

Some courses are limited to students in select programs of study or are restricted by prerequisite/corequisite coursework. If restrictions are placed on courses in which you are interested in enrolling as a non-degree seeking student, permission to enroll may be granted through a registration action form with the division and/or faculty responsible for teaching the class. Proof of credit earned for requisites may be made in the form of a transcript.

Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for financial aid programs. This should not be confused with being undecided or to be used as a method to avoid admission requirements from any other admit type.
