BUSN 325 Management Theory & Research

This course studies the eight managerial functions (planning, decision making, organizing, staffing, communicating, motivating, leading, and controlling) that are essential in the process of working with and through others to achieve organizational goals and objectives in a changing environment. Five approaches to management will be researched over the course of the semester. Critical components of this course include a series of manager interviews and creating a personal philosophy of management by the student.
