NURS 600 Law, Compliance & Ethical Decision Making in Health Care

This course will explore the legal system and laws that influence the complex and dynamic health care environment of today. Emphasis will be given to topics including legal principles, licensing regulations, legal liability, compliance regulations and corporate compliance, ethical principles, ethical dilemmas and issues affecting decision making processes, and laws directly or indirectly influencing health care. Prerequisite: NURS 540.
