SPED 587 Learning Disability Practicum
This clinical course is tailored for students pursuing a degree in special education, with supplementary coursework focused on various learning disabilities. The course includes a 60-hour field experience in a regional school or external agency that serves individuals with learning disabilities. During this field experience, students will apply instructional concepts and methods from their coursework. They will implement an action research intervention plan and complete other assignments as outlined in their accompanying methods course on learning disabilities.
Note: Students must have an approved background check and liability insurance before beginning the field experience.
