SPED 585 Emotional Disability Practicum
This clinical course is designed for students pursuing a degree in special education, with supplementary coursework focused on emotional and behavioral disorders. The course includes a 60-hour field experience in a regional school or external agency that serves individuals with emotional disturbances. During this field experience, students will apply methods learned in their coursework. They will implement an action research intervention plan and complete other assignments as outlined in their accompanying methods course on emotional disturbances.
Note: Students must have an approved background check and liability insurance before beginning the field experience.
