Special Education Certificate
The special education certificate consists of 9 credits of study in the areas of: learning disabilities, behavior and mental health training, understandings of special education services in schools and communities and the laws and policies that support service to persons with special needs. Students who complete the program may choose to take the national RBT certification exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician. Students may choose to take the program online or a mix of on-campus/online classes.
