History is a record of human life on earth. Thus it involves not only political development, but economic achievements, social evolution, religion and values. The Bachelor of Science in History Education is, therefore, designed to give the students a genuine understanding of the events that have shaped both the western and eastern world over the centuries. The core requirements provide a comprehensive overview of basic material and the elective courses allow an in-depth study of specialized areas. In the upper-division classes the student will develop an in-depth understanding of the subject matter which will provide them with a solid intellectual foundation that will make them better teachers in the field of history.
