Transfer Student Requirements

Transfer applicants who have completed 24 or more semester or 36 or more quarter hours or more transferable credits post-secondary shall be admitted to Mayville State University if:

1. Applicant is not on dismissed or suspension status at their most recent institution attended;
2. Applicant presents a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale on all transferable work attempted at all institutions previously attended; and
3. Applicants who do not meet requirements in 1 or 2 above may be evaluated on an individual basis.

Applicants who have completed less than 24 semester credits or 36 quarter hours of transferable credits shall also adhere to the First Year Student Requirements for admission.
