HPER 219 Lifeguard Training

Designed to teach the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to emergencies in aquatic environments. Students fulfilling the certification requirements will be issued certificates in Lifeguard Training, Standard First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Prerequisite HPER 166 or equivalent skill level, HPER 210.
