EC 333 Pre-K Methods/Materials
This course focuses on creating developmentally appropriate curricula tailored to the unique needs and interests of pre-kindergarten children. This involves taking into consideration each child's cultural background and family influences when designing activities. The course emphasizes the importance of play in a child's development, students will plan child-directed and teacher-directed lessons. Students will also create and implement teacher-made materials and demonstrate effective teaching strategies across various curriculum areas such as science, math, arts, music, movement, literacy, and social studies.
