Child Development Programs

The Mayville State University Child Development Programs (MSU CDP) provides the foundation for meeting two general goals:

  1. To provide comprehensive services for children and families ages six weeks to twelve years; and
  2. To provide a quality learning environment for Mayville State University students.

Both goals are accomplished by the CDP offering early, intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services to all families enrolled in any of the available programs: Head Start, Early Head Start, Early Head Start/Child Care Partnership, and Child Care services. Our services are available in many different capacities across a six-county services area in eastern North Dakota, including Traill, Steele, Nelson, Grand Forks, Walsh, & Cass County.

The MSU CDP provides a hands on training environment conducive to the needs of Elementary and Early Childhood education, work study and student employment opportunities. The MSU CDP prides itself in providing comprehensive high quality services to the communities within our service area and at Mayville State University.

For more information about MSU CDP enrollment process or employment opportunities, please contact the Main office located in Birkelo Hall or by phone at 701.788.4868.
