PHYS 497S Internship

An off-campus, faculty-approved work experience related to the student's major or minor course of study. Credit hours are determined by the Physics faculty and are based on the relevancy of the work assignment. Internship credit may be repeated to a maximum of 10 S.H. However, no more than five internship per semester are allowed. The maximum number of hours that may be assigned to the major or minor program are determined by the faculty person responsible for the course. Credit my not be applied to the B.S. Ed. degree program except as excess beyond the required and elective as listed in this catalog. Prerequisites: Junior or senior standing, completion of approximately three-fourths of the major or minor program, cumulative grade point average of 2.50, 3.00 grade point average in the major or minor program, and consent of instructor. S/U Grading. Fall, Spring, Summer.
