EC 418 Technology, Math, and Science in ECE
This course is to give teacher candidates the opportunity to develop creative ways to involve children with math, science and technology (STEM Concepts). Teacher candidates will investigate appropriate technologies to enhance the learning of young children, discovering how to promote young children’s mathematical understandings, and uncovering effective strategies in guiding children to be scientifically literate. Pre-requisite: EC 333.
