CIS 385 Contemporary Multimedia Tools

The purpose of this course is to give students hands-on experience with finding, using, and evaluating free multimedia tools (mTools) to solve problems in in their professional and personal lives. Students will learn about growth and fixed mindsets and about processes such as design thinking (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test), user centered (UC) design and user experience (UX) research and testing. These problem-solving techniques can be applied universally to any discipline.
