CHEM 122L General Chemistry II Lab

Students will develop familiarity with basic equipment and techniques used in chemical laboratories; will learn to interpret data using graphical analysis and spreadsheets; will use equipment and chemical reagents in a safe manner; and will gain the ability to perform a variety of chemistry experiments, for example involving enthalpy measurements and phase changes, elementary chromatography, colligative properties of solutions, rates of chemical reactions, titration analysis, etc.  The course consists of 2 hours of laboratory per week.  Pre-requisite: CHEM 121.  Co-requisite: CHEM 122.  Spring on campus, online.  (CCN Course) Essential Studies
