CHEM 121L General Chemistry I Lab

Students will develop familiarity with equipment and techniques used in chemical laboratories; will learn about the process of scientific inquiry; will develop an awareness of safety issues in a chemical laboratory; will gain an understanding of quantitative measurements, significant figures; and will perform a variety of experiments like determining chemical formulae, characterizing solutions, thermochemical measurements, elementary synthesis reactions, solubility measurements.  The course consists of 2 hours of laboratory per week.  Co-requisite: CHEM 121.  Pre-requisite: None. MATH 103 highly suggested. Fall online & on campus.   (CCN Course) Essential Studies
