HPER 210 First Aid & CPR
Instruction and laboratory practice in first aid procedures including cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR), rescue breathing, artificial airway obstruction, and use of an
automated external defibrillator (AED). The course is taught according to American Heart Association standards. Students demonstrating the necessary skills and knowledge will be certified in Basic Life Saving for Healthcare Providers and Heart
Saver First Aid. This certification is good for two years. Required for all HPER majors. Fall, Spring, Summer.
