Special Education Minor

Required credits for this minor: 20

This minor compliments all education majors (i.e., early childhood, elementary, secondary) and potential service providers (i.e., health care, fitness and wellness). It provides the breadth and depth of content and methods necessary to provide developmentally appropriate supports for a variety of individuals with special needs in multiple settings. The courses included in this minor reflect the basic knowledge and skills necessary to work with students with special needs.  With this minor students can apply for special education licensure through the state of North Dakota.
