AGEC 385 Ag Consulting & Sales

This course examines the behavioral and business applications that will lead to a successful career in agribusiness sales and consultation. The history and economic importance of agricultural sales and consulting are emphasized. In addition, the nature, functions, skills and abilities of today’s contemporary sales and consulting professional will be studied. Current sales and marketing issues facing the industry will be emphasized. Students will be challenged to apply the skills learned in class constructing comprehensive sales plans based on real industry case studies. Pre-requisites: BUSN 352 or BUSN 205.
